Dr Perry : Research recognition

We’re excited and incredibly proud to announce that Dr James Perry has been appointed as an Honorary Associate Professor at Edge Hill University.

This appointment recognises the life-changing research and interventions that Dr Perry and his team have delivered to patients across the Wirral and beyond.

Dr Perry is Chair of the Wirral Research Collaborative and Director of the NIHR Commercial Research Delivery Centre – Primary Care: Cheshire and Merseyside, hosted at Marine Lake Medical Practice. Under his leadership, the team has achieved both European and National first recruits in recent times, highlighting the outstanding contribution being made to research and patient care locally.

Dr Perry would like to extend his heartfelt thanks to the incredible team around him, whose dedication and commitment have been fundamental to these achievements.

He would also like to express his sincere appreciation to all the practice teams and, most importantly, the patients of Wirral, who continue to be so receptive to the opportunities created through this important work.
